This is a beautiful activity to refocus and restore balance when life gets out of control (more often than not for busy Mamas!)

 

Being intentional about what we plan for helps in many different ways. I enjoy taking the time to write it down so it is out of my head for a start, it may give you an understanding of certain aspects of your life like knowing priorities and sticking to them for a time and something we all need to remember, saying no.

 

HOW TO USE:

  • Using the first template of a typical week.

  • Make a cuppa and take 30 minutes to write down everything that you do in a week. Include wake time, sleep time, work, driving time, etc. This is a typical week or fortnight for you. At the end of it, make another cuppa and take some time to look at your week. Using the 3 boxes at the bottom of the page, reflect and answer as best you can.

  • After you have reflected on how your week currently is, take the second template, buy yourself a new packet of coloured pens and using the key colours I have suggested (or make up your own) block out your time for an ideal week. Have a look at your balance of colours and activities, look at where you are not giving yourself enough time, look at days that leave you exhausted and brainstorm alternative ways of doing things.

  • This is a tool you can use every week, reflecting and manifesting how you want your life to be. And remember if nothing changes, nothing changes!
